Military Relieved To Get New Shipment Of Utter Disaster

PENTAGON -- The US military reported relief upon hearing that a friendly F/A-18 Hornet had accidentally bombed one of its own facilities today killing five Americans, following the long delay between its last error where a Navy submarine surfaced underneath a Japanese trawler killing nine.
"Our troops stood fast in the face of adversity" said Pentagon spokesperson Rear Adm. Craig Quigley, "and in the end, they persevered, and the calvary of deadly, embarrassing disaster arrived to deliver them."
"We'd gone nearly a whole month without some kind of horrible catastrophe," said Pvt. Shane McDougan, 5th Infantry, who was deployed through the heart of the shortage. "I'm not sure how much more of that I could take."
