America's Diversity Questioned, Answered March 14th, 2001
PROVIDENCE, RI -- University of Rhode Island senior Colleen Dawlin was horrified to learn from British exchange student Rob Polk that Europeans consider the audience of the Jerry Springer talk show to be representative of all Americans.
"For America, diversity is an understatement," said Colleen, a women's studies major, "this country contains many, many kinds of people, like ignorant morons, shouting buffoons, loud, fat black women with attitudes, incestuous southerners and ugly homosexuals who cheat on their spouses who cheat on them, all living in harmony with those big security guys behind them."
