Nerds Delighted To See Agent Smith In Lord Of The Rings

LOS ANGELES -- Nerds around the world we delighted Wednesday to watch Matrix star Hugo Weaving in the newly released classic, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Weaving played nemesis Agent Smith in 1999's The Matrix. In LOTR he plays Elrond, the Elven king.
"It was so awesome when he came on and said 'Welcome to Isingard, Froddo Baggins', or as I said, 'Mister Anderson'," said giggling software engineer Matt Tolbiens.
Weaving, is a 41 year old native of Australia, where the original Matrix was filmed. "I heard he is going to play Agent Smith version 2.0 in the sequel to the Matrix," continued a giddy Tolbiens, who gave various excuses for his clammy hands and brow.
Weaving has also signed to retain his role as Elrond in the next two editions of the LOTR trilogy.
