Team Of Meddling Kids Help Pass Campaign Finance Reform

WASHINGTON, DC -- According to unconfirmed reports recovered by the Washington Post this morning, a squad of teenage sleuths may have helped pass the Shays-Meehan campaign finance reform bill in the House of Representatives late last night.
"That's right," said Sen. Trent Lott (R-MI), wearing an unmasked ghost-scarecrow costume. "It turns out this bill was sitting on top of a huge gold mine. And if it weren't for you meddling kids, I just might have gotten away with it."
