SALEM CHECKPOINT, WEST BANK -- Yesterday Israel
began its attempt to think outside the box by boxing in the West Bank frontier with an expensive, 125 mile high-tech "security fence".
"This fence will creatively destroy any terrorist undertakings before they happen," said an Israeli spokesperson. "Think different!" he added.
Israel says it is also planning a similar wall to separate the Eastern and Western sectors of Jerusalem. "We have not heard of anyone trying this before, splitting a city in half with a wall," said David Eliezer, a construction engineer working for the project. "It's really a new idea."
