Settlers, Terrorists Agree: US Should Stop Its Harmful Meddling

JERUSALEM -- In a joint reaction to President Bush's speech Monday, Israeli settlers and Arab terrorists stated in parallel that the United States should stop its detrimental peace attempts for the Middle East. Bush said that Israel should stop settlement activity in Palestinian areas and Palestinians should shrug off President Yassir Arafat.
"This is a domestic problem, and the US should not intervene with our activities here," said Yiddah Seltzer, a representative of the Israeli Settler's Council. "We welcome peace, but not at the cost whatever it was we wanted anyway."
Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas echoed the Jewish settlers' comments. "The United States has no right to tell us what to do," said a crazed, masked spokesman for the organization. "We want peace, but not if it means we have to give up our right to live here and are not about to give that up."
