Brits to Give Saddam a "Sporting Chance"March 18th, 2003
KUWAIT CITY -- British Air Marshal Brian Burridge warned that while Iraq would surely be defeated as early as tomorrow in the imminent Second Gulf War, he offered concessions in the interest of sportsmanship and what he described as "good form".
"Saddam will be crushed without mercy," said Burridge. "However, fairness is prudence and so thusly, Iraq may select one division from British forces for its own use." |
