Terror Alert Lowered to Yellow January 12th, 2004
WASHINGTON, DC -- Yesterday the national terror alert level was offically lowered to "yellow" from "orange". Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge said, "Now that terrible specter has passed, we can all breathe a sight of relief from whatever that was."
New York Laguardia Baggage Screener Bob Johnson agreed. "It's a good thing to know that that thing has passed. I don't want to know what would have happened if that happened," he said. "It certainly couldn't have been good."
