Dems Say Capitol Needs More Bipartisanship; Reps Say Needs More Fuck You

WASHINGTON, DC -- Sen. John Breaux (D-LA) said on CNN's The Spin Room tonight, "I think that what the Congress needs now is more bipartisanship, that's the only way we can move together into a brighter tomorrow."
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), whose party now leads in every branch of the federal government, responded on NBC's Meet the Press, saying "We think that what Washington really needs is more Screw You." He added, "Eat me." His comments echo those of the GOP leadership, who have increasingly demanded that the minority quit whining and go fuck themselves.
While Republicans in Congress have speedily won several core pieces of legislation like the Bush budget, their tax cut and Democratic wife surrogation, the Democrats have won some small victories. The recently approved Ways and Means Committee rules let the Dems delay Republican-backed legislature for up to two weeks before they have to vote in favor of it.
