BOSTON -- With a campaign tearing across Democratic caucuses nationwide, for frontrunner candidate John Kerry a crucial question has emerged: will the Senator be able to carry Massachusetts?
    Kerry, who has represented that state in Congress for the last 16 years, will need the key battleground state, analysts said. "Massachusetts is central to the whole New England region," said CNN Senior political analyst Bill Schneider. "If Kerry can't grapple that, his campaign may be in serious trouble."
    "An Irish, popular, Kennedy-style liberal may need a little boost to get traction there," continued Schneider.
