SANTA BARBARA, CA -- Lord of the Rings trilogy Peter Jackson's home has already sunk 4 inches due to the additional weight of Academy Awards incurred by the final installment of the series, "The Return of the King."
    "Houses sinking is nothing unusual in the world of celebrities," said Variety editor Michael Speier, whose publiciation reported that several contractors were called in to boost up Jackon's house. "Gospel singer Al Green was once in a car accident due to keeping too many Grammy awards on the passenger side of his car, and Fred Astaire used his Oscar to beat Judy Garland to death."
