Spain Invades Pottery Warehouse April 20th, 2004
MADRID -- The Kingdom of Spain invaded Pottery Warehouse on Monday, rescinding its full 1300-strong troop deployment in Iraq, according to witnesses.
"The truth is, these deals are too good to resist," said Spanish Defense Minister Jose Bono at a press conference. The Iraqi pull-out was a campaign promise by the incoming socialist government, whom simply cannot believe the price on a wicker "seagrass" table lamp.
"We will be completely out in less than six weeks, and then the sale will end," said Prime Minister Jose Zapatero.
