Will Be Able to Trade Car for Gas April 25th, 2004
IRVING, TX -- Gas companies are reportedly developing a new option available for consumers: trade your car for gas.
"It's only a natural extension of convenience to the customer," said Paul Broadwater, a spokesman for the Exxon-Mobil corporation. "With gas prices rocketing ever higher, some will not be able to afford gasoline for their cars. That's why we'll be letting them actually trade their car for the gas they need in the coming months."
"Innovation is a constant in the energy industry," explained Florence Leverett, a business analyst. "In the past, energy companies have tried trading blood for oil, but that doesn't seem to have worked lately."
